Who is The Salems Foundation?
The foundation is a humanitarian aid organization, active in several countries around the world, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people and children affected by poverty or emergencies. We thrive to provide a simple way to fund various extreme poverty alleviation efforts, through multiple highly rated humanitarian organizations, focused on the world's most severely affected communities. Address the development and humanitarian needs of the needy people and other communities around the world. Dedicated to help in reducing needless human suffering from vaccine preventable and neglected tropical diseases through advocacy, resource mobilization. We exist to help in the world where no child is bought, sold, or used for sex and other matters. Programs Nongovernmental, nonsectarian, and not-for-profit, The Salems Foundation provides assistance to children and communities without regard to politics, religious beliefs, or ethnic identities. Guiding Principles The Salems Foundation assistance programs focus on maternal and child health, the prevention and treatment of disease, and emergency preparedness and response, and are tailored to the particular circumstances and needs of the world’s most vulnerable and at-risk populations. Finances & Policies Direct Relief honors the generosity of its donors by following a firm policy of full transparency in all of its operations. The organization routinely reports on how donations are used and makes its financial documents (e.g., tax returns, annual reports, audits), fundraising practices, and compensation policies open to the public
